This treatment utilizes energy delivered by a CO2 laser to heat the tissue located in the vaginal canal. This stimulates collagen and elastin production which can tighten, improve vaginal dryness, and help improve symptoms related to urinary stress incontinence.

Vaginal rejuvenation utilizing CO2 laser can improve:

  • Urinary leakage
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Vaginal laxity
  • Vaginal irritation
  • Painful intercourse
The vaginal walls are cleaned using a hydrogen peroxide solution and long Q-tip. The probe is inserted into the vaginal canal. Treatment is generally well tolerated, no anesthetic is needed.
You may experience mild burning, itching, swelling for a few days post treatment.
Generally, 3 treatments are recommended 4 weeks apart.
Full results will be noticeable in 3 months and results can last for up to one year. Maintenance once a year is recommended.
If the settings are too high, burns, scarring, and pain during intercourse may occur. We always approach these treatments conservatively and can adjust settings on subsequent visits based on response and tolerance.
